意指他正走著, 坐著, 躺著或玩在海灘的沙子上. 

 He is at the beach.

範圍比較大, 意指他可能在海水裡, 或在海灘附近的商店買東西吃東西, 甚至在濱海小鎮上渡假都算是哦! 

 He is in the beach. 

這說法則是錯誤的喲~

loyal - [ˈlɔɪəl ]忠誠的忠心的忠貞的 N. 忠臣 信徒

I thanked them for their long and loyal service. 我非常感謝他們長期以來忠誠的效力。

They had remained loyal to the president. 他們始終對總統忠心耿耿。

He'd always been such a loyal friend to us all. 他一直是我們大家忠實的朋友。

faithful -  [ˈfeθfəl ] adj. 忠誠的忠實的  N. 信徒

She insisted that she had remained faithful to her husband. 她堅持說自己對丈夫一直是忠誠的。

We are all faithful listeners to the program. 我們都是這檔節目的忠實聽眾。

Colin Welland's screenplay is faithful to the novel. 科林韋蘭的電影劇本忠實於原小說(忠於原著)。

attentive - [əˈtɛntɪv ]注意的 殷勤的 周到的

The hotel staff are friendly and attentive. 旅館人員友好而且照顧周到。

The speaker likes to have an attentive audience. 演講者喜歡注意力集中的聽眾。

forgiving - [fərˈgɪvɪŋ ] 寬容的 仁慈的

I don't think people are in a very forgiving mood. 我覺得人們現在心胸不夠寬廣。

unselfish - [ʌnˈsɛlfɪʃ ]無私的

even-tempered - [ˈivən 'tempəd ]性情温和的 心情平穩的

My mother is strong and even-tempered. 我的母親是堅強而隨和的。

He's fair, even-tempered and very reasonable. 他對人公平、沒什麼脾氣、並且非常講理。

一隻流浪狗發現一個剛出生的嬰兒被丟棄在馬路上. 

它用嘴叼起這新生的嬰兒而不傷害到他/她, 並且把他/她放在某戶人家的前面, 然後離去. 

這嬰兒活了下來而且很健康.
